Privacy policy

• Families: parent name, email, phone, address, child’s name, grade, school year, health or learning notes you choose to give us, attendance, payment history. We never see or store full card numbers; Stripe does.
• Pro+ learners: name, email, employer (if sponsored), progress, quiz results, reflections you write, certificate details.
• Everyone: enquiries you send us, and basic analytics (page views, device type, approximate location by country or region) that do not use cookies and do not identify you.

To deliver and bill the program or course, to communicate about classes and announcements, to issue certificates, to report progress to a sponsoring employer, to meet legal and tax obligations, and to improve the site.

Service providers who process data for us under contract: Stripe (payments), Supabase (database and storage, hosted in Canada), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email), Mux (video streaming), Google Workspace (email). A sponsoring employer receives the progress fields listed in the Terms of Use. We do not sell personal information.

We collect a child’s information only from a parent or guardian, use it only to run the program, and do not market to children.

Family and learner records are kept for 7 years after the last transaction for tax and legal purposes, then deleted. Reflections and quiz answers are deleted 12 months after a course licence ends unless you ask sooner.

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, withdraw consent (which may end the service), or complain. Write to the Privacy Officer, Daniel Sheikhan, at info@geniuslearning.ca. You may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Access to records is limited by role; data is encrypted in transit and at rest; staff accounts use strong authentication.

The site uses only strictly necessary cookies (login session). Our analytics set no cookies.
